WHO ARE YOU???????

Middle school is the start of personal exploration. We learn about new foods we like.  We discover that the clothes we like may also be the ones that our parents don’t like.  We also start to think about our future...

We are going to discover more about ourselves by taking two surveys. Some of you may have taken one of these in the past, but to reevaluate our interests, these are a good starting point.  Both surveys are based on larger survey called the Myers-Briggs Inventory.  This survey provides an indicator of some of your personal preferences.  People with personal preferences that are similar to yours like the career choices they made.  After taking the surveys, we will look at some of those career choices.  Maybe it will be a career that interests you!!!  Please remember, there are no “RIGHT” or “WRONG” answers. The choices you make are based on how you think and feel.  Finally, as with all surveys, these results are not cast in concrete.  This is only the beginning of discovery!

Step 1: Complete the two Myers-Briggs assessments called HumanMetrics and Personaility Pathways to determine your four letter M-B personality type (INTJ, ENFP, etc).

Step 2: Pick a career choice from the “assessment page” or perform a google search for Myers-Briggs careers for your career type.

Step 3: Once you have selected a career, download and complete the PowerPoint template on the assessment page.

Step 4:  On the competion date assigned, selected students will present thier findings.  Grades will be assigned based on the Rubric on the assessment page.
